"Now then, my sons, listen to me; blessed are those
who keep my ways." Proverbs 8:32
"Now then" Considering all God has done already, pay
attention to what He has to say.
"my sons" The Lord calls us His sons. It is the
relationship with a loving, caring father
for the son in whom He delights.
"listen" Listening requires that we be still. Stop
your activity; stop your noise and hear Him.
"to me" There are so many voices in the world trying
to get our attention. The Lord says for us
to listen to Him above and before all else.
What important thing does He have to say?
"blessed" They will be rich with His blessing.
"are" It's a sure and finished work.
"those" sons
"who" the sons that listen
"keep" not only choosing, but carefully following
"my" the Lord, He's talking here; listen!
"ways" the path He sets before His sons to follow
