=======
I call my wife Puddin. I wrote her this poem for Valentine's
Day three years ago. I know that it's not Valentine's Day,
but it is a good day to write something to those you love.
El (NathaniEL III) and Josees are our two boys; Christian, the
15-month old wasn't born at the time.
PUDDIN
Just taking a moment to say
To a special person in a special way
That I love you for all you do
To make my life closer to the dream come true
I do some things that maybe I shouldn'
I need to be more considerate of my little Puddin
A lot of things I've done that maybe I couldn'
If I didn't have my sweet little Puddin
I know it gets tough with a hollering EL
And Josees wailing real loud as well
My clothes all wrinkled and piled up high
You see it all and just have to sigh
But that's what makes Puddin so nice
You didn't let it stop you from doing it twice
My Puddin tries to keep everything going
And it sometimes feels like a train you're towing
But you'll make it - everything will turn out fine
Even El will quiet down and Josees won't whine
I'll be real nice and oh so sweet
And you'll even feel real good, even your feet
I had to write my own Valentine card
Cause no one knows my Puddin's has it hard
With Josees and El and me to see about
My Puddin sometimes just wants to shout
But you'll be fine in the fullness of time
And nothing will be able to darken your mind
And I will be here, El and Josees too
And all of us still say that we love you
