Luke 5:1-11( NLT ) One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God. He noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper and let down your nets, and you will catch many fish.” “ Master,” Simon replied, “ we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, we’ll try again.” And this time their nets were so full they began to tear! A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking. When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me --- I’m too much of a sinner to be around you.” For he was awestruch by the size of their catch, as were the others with him. His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed. Jesus replied to Simon, “Don’t be afraid ! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!” And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.

路加福音５:1-11 有一天，耶稣站在革尼撒勒湖边，人群拥上来，要听他宣讲上帝的话。他看见两条船停在湖边，打鱼的人离开船，正在岸上洗网。耶稣上了西门的那一条船，吩咐西门把船稍微划开。耶稣坐下来，从船上教导群众。讲完后，他对西门说：“把船划到水深的地方去，然后你撒网会打很多鱼。”西门说：“老师，我们整夜辛劳，什么都没有打着；既然你这么说，我就撒网吧！”于是他们撒网，捕到了一大群鱼，鱼网差一点破了。他们就招呼另一条船的伙伴过来帮忙，他们就来，把鱼装满了两条船，船几乎沉下去。西门·彼得看见这情形，就跪在耶稣面前，说：“主啊，请你离开我吧，我是个罪人！” 他和一切同在的人都很惊讶所打的这一大网鱼。他的伙伴西庇太的儿子雅各和约翰也一样惊讶。耶稣对西门说：“不要怕，从今以后，你要得人了。”他们把船靠岸，就撇下所有的，跟从了耶稣。
