In grace there is ONLY receiving, no doing.<br/><br/>Law is us doing something for God. But because we are sinners, there is nothing that God wants from us. Therefore, even in law, God had a lamb.<br/><br/>Romans 3<br/>21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed to by the law and the prophets.<br/><br/>Romans 3:27<br/>Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? No: but by the law of faith.<br/><br/>Romans 9:11<br/>(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calls;)<br/><br/>Romans 11:6<br/>And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.<br/><br/>Ephesians 2:9<br/>Not of works, lest any man should boast.<br/><br/>We are not 95% under grace and 5% under law.
