创世记——第十四章

创世记第十四章: 14:1 当暗拉非作示拿王、亚略作以拉撒王、基大老玛作以拦王、提达作戈印王的时候, 14:2 他们都攻打所多玛王比拉、蛾摩拉王比沙、押玛王示纳、洗扁王善以别和比拉王;比拉就是琐珥。 14:3 这五王都在西订谷会合,西订谷就是盐海。 14:4 他们已经事奉基大老玛十二年,到十三年就背叛了。  14:5 十四年,基大老玛和同盟的王都来在亚特律加宁,杀败了利乏音人,在哈麦杀败了苏西人,在沙微基列亭杀败了以米人, 14:6 在何利人的西珥山杀败了何利人,一直杀到靠近旷野的伊勒巴兰。 14:7 他们回到安密巴,就是加低斯,杀败了亚玛力全地的人,以及住在哈洗逊他玛的亚摩利人。 14:8 于是所多玛王、蛾摩拉王、押玛王、洗扁王和比拉王(比拉就是琐珥)都出来,在西订谷摆阵,与他们交战, 14:9 就是与以拦王基大老玛、戈印王提达、示拿王暗拉非、以拉撒王亚略交战,乃是四王与五王交战。 14:10 西订谷有许多石漆坑。所多玛王和蛾摩拉王逃跑,有掉在坑里的,其余的人都往山上逃跑。 14:11 四王就把所多玛和蛾摩拉所有的财物,并一切的粮食都掳掠去了; 14:12 又把亚伯兰的侄儿罗得和罗得的财物掳掠去了。当时罗得正住在所多玛。 14:13 有一个逃出来的人,告诉希伯来人亚伯兰,亚伯兰正住在亚摩利人幔利的橡树那里。幔利和以实各并亚乃都是弟兄,曾与亚伯兰联盟。 14:14 亚伯兰听见他侄儿(注:原文作“弟兄”)被掳去,就率领他家里生养的精练壮丁三百一十八人,直追到但。 14:15 便在夜间,自己同仆人分队杀败敌人,又追到大马士革左边的何把, 14:16 将被掳掠的一切财物夺回来,连他侄儿罗得和他的财物,以及妇女、人民,也都夺回来。 14:17 亚伯兰杀败基大老玛和与他同盟的王回来的时候,所多玛王出来,在沙微谷迎接他;沙微谷就是王谷。 14:18 又有撒冷王麦基洗德带著饼和酒出来迎接;他是至高 神的祭司。 14:19 他为亚伯兰祝福说:“愿天地的主、至高的 神赐福与亚伯兰! 14:20 至高的 神把敌人交在你手里,是应当称颂的。”亚伯兰就把所得的拿出十分之一来,给麦基洗德。 14:21 所多玛王对亚伯兰说:“你把人口给我,财物你自己拿去吧!” 14:22 亚伯兰对所多玛王说:“我已经向天地的主至高的 神耶和华起誓, 14:23 凡是你的东西,就是一根线、一根鞋带,我都不拿,免得你说:‘我使亚伯兰富足。’ 14:24 只有仆人所吃的,并与我同行的亚乃、以实各、幔利所应得的分,可以任凭他们拿去。”

  一四1~12 本章主要事件发生前十三年,以拦(波斯)王基大老玛征服了多个在死海(盐海)附近平原的王。包括所多玛在内,有五个城邑向他进贡了十二年。(当时大多数城邑都有自己的君王。君王之间的战争和竞争是司空见惯之事,而被征服的城邑要向得胜的君王进贡。)到第十三年,五个被虏的王起来联盟背叛基大老玛,不再向他进贡。于是,基大老玛联合巴比伦一带的三王,沿死海东边向南进军,再沿西边向北进攻所多玛、峨摩拉和平原上其它的城市。他们在西订谷交战,那里有许多石漆坑。战争的结果是侵略者击败反叛者,基大老玛再次征服他们,携同战利品和俘虏——包括亚伯兰背道的侄儿罗得向北进发。

  “盐海”就是死海,原为一深陷之谷,聚约但河水成湖,其水平面低于地中海的海平面约一千三百多英尺。此湖并无出口,因累年聚积矿物质,其水中含百分之二十五的氯化盐及溴化盐,是世上浓度最高的湖水,生物无法在此水中生存

  一四13~16 亚伯兰听闻消息后,就率领家里生养的精练壮丁三百一十八人,直向北面的但,追赶战胜军。最后在亚兰(叙利亚)的大马色附近击败他们,救回罗得,连同掳掠的一切财物都夺回来。背道的人不单自招麻烦,还连累他人。罗得贪求一切最好的东西,使他陷入罪恶的网罗。多得财富和成就的渴望,反而令他失去自由和享受。他被基大老玛掳去,可能会受到严刑、奴役或面对死亡。我们也像他那样,常被引诱去做不该做的事,或是去不当去的地方。我们所渴望的美好前途往往会引诱我们,奴役我们,甚至俘掳我们。

  这里亚伯兰用刀剑救回罗得。稍后,他借代祷解救罗得(十八、十九章)

  一四17~18 亚伯兰回家后,所多玛王出来迎接他。正如经过一场伟大的属灵争战胜利后,撒但都前来迷惑信徒一样。然而,撒冷王麦基洗德这至高神的祭司带着饼和酒出来迎接亚伯兰。这里首次提及饼和酒,象征救主受难。我们必须会意,只要想到他为救赎我们所付的代价,我们就有力量抗拒各种罪恶和诱惑。

  圣经中的名字是有意思的。麦基洗德意即“仁义之王”,撒冷(耶路撒冷之简称)是平安的意思,撒冷王是“和平之君”的意思。因此,他是“仁义王”,也是“平安王”。他显然是一位敬畏神的人,他认识神是创造天地的主宰。他象征基督——仁义和平的真君王,我们至高的大祭司。希伯来书七章3节提到麦基洗德“无父、无母、无族谱、无生之始、无命之终”这段话的意思是指着他祭司的身分说的。祭司的事奉通常是世袭的,且任期有限。按圣经记载所示,麦基洗德祭司的位分是独一无二的,他祭司的位分不是从承袭得来,无始也无终。基督是“照着麦基洗德的等次”永远为祭司(诗—一O4;来七17)

  一四19~20 麦基洗德为亚伯兰祝福,亚伯兰就把掳回之财物,拿十分之一献给这位至高神的祭司,表明承认他的战果是出于大祭司的代祷和神的赏赐。信徒也应当借着奉献,来表达对主爱和神恩的感激(林后五14~15;八1~2)。

  希伯来书第七章说明这些行动蕴藏很深的属灵意义。亚伯兰是亚伦的祖先,因此被视为亚伦裔祭司的代表。麦基洗德祝福亚伯兰,意思是麦基洗德祭司的位分比亚伦高,因为祝福人的总比领受祝福的优越。亚伯兰把十分之一的财物送给麦基洗德,表征着亚伦裔的祭司承认麦基洗德的祭司位分较为优越,因为在下的当事奉在上的。

  一四21~24 结果,所多玛王对亚伯兰说:“你把人口给我,财物你自己拿去吧!”可见,撒但时刻想要利用物质诱惑蒙蔽我们。亚伯兰回答说,即使是一根线,一根鞋带,他都不拿走。一般人对财富的追求是没有止境的,富有者越想更富有;能知“拒所当拒、取所当取”,这是一个人真正敬畏神的明证。(所多玛人在神面前罪大恶极,凡与罪恶有关的财物,信徒必须抱持一介不取的态度,以免羞辱主的见证。)

  亚伯兰拒绝接受所多玛王的礼物,虽然那大量的财物能大大增加他对神的奉献,但是他不想让不敬虔的所多玛王说,他使亚伯兰发了大财。亚伯兰要让他明白,是神使自己富足。如果亚伯兰在这个时候接受所多玛王的礼物,就会把别人的注意力集中在自己或所多玛王身上,而不是神身上。同样的道理,当别人注意我们时,要让他们看到神在我们身上所成就的事,而不是看见我们自己。

  真实有信心的人,总是具有远见的;他绝不肯作一件将来可能会陷他信心于困境的事。亚伯兰清楚的看见,接受所多玛王赠予可能有的后果,因此他拒绝接受。他不愿给仇敌任何借口的机会,免得神的名受到羞辱。

最近觉得词汇量有点跟不上,最好先通读几遍,把生词先罗列一下,通过查字典,达到默写的程度,然后再听录音听定,这样的错误率就会很低了。

Abram Rescues Lot

1 At this time Amraphel king of Shinar, [a] Arioch king of Ellasar, Kedorlaomer king of Elam and Tidal king of Goiim 2 went to war against Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar). 3 All these latter kings joined forces in the Valley of Siddim (the Salt Sea [b] ). 4 For twelve years they had been subject to Kedorlaomer, but in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

5 In the fourteenth year, Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him went out and defeated the Rephaites in Ashteroth Karnaim, the Zuzites in Ham, the Emites in Shaveh Kiriathaim 6 and the Horites in the hill country of Seir, as far as El Paran near the desert. 7 Then they turned back and went to En Mishpat (that is, Kadesh), and they conquered the whole territory of the Amalekites, as well as the Amorites who were living in Hazazon Tamar.

8 Then the king of Sodom, the king of Gomorrah, the king of Admah, the king of Zeboiim and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) marched out and drew up their battle lines in the Valley of Siddim 9 against Kedorlaomer king of Elam, Tidal king of Goiim, Amraphel king of Shinar and Arioch king of Ellasar-four kings against five. 10 Now the Valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills. 11 The four kings seized all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food; then they went away. 12 They also carried off Abram's nephew Lot and his possessions, since he was living in Sodom.

13 One who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew. Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre the Amorite, a brother [c] of Eshcol and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram. 14 When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained men born in his household and went in pursuit as far as Dan. 15 During the night Abram divided his men to attack them and he routed them, pursuing them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus. 16 He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions, together with the women and the other people.

17 After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King's Valley).

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem [d] brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, 19 and he blessed Abram, saying,

"Blessed be Abram by God Most High,

Creator [e] of heaven and earth.

20 And blessed be [f] God Most High,

who delivered your enemies into your hand."

Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

21 The king of Sodom said to Abram, "Give me the people and keep the goods for yourself."

22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, "I have raised my hand to the LORD , God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, and have taken an oath 23 that I will accept nothing belonging to you, not even a thread or the thong of a sandal, so that you will never be able to say, 'I made Abram rich.' 24 I will accept nothing but what my men have eaten and the share that belongs to the men who went with me-to Aner, Eshcol and Mamre. Let them have their share."

怪不得有人去敬拜麦基洗德,称他为神~~~可能就是误解了这句话~~~
