Straight path

[B]Man 1: [/B] Wow! What a road! [B]Man 2: [/B] No kidding. When Gary said his place was only a few miles off the highway, he neglected to tell us it would take two hours to travel those few miles. [B]Man 1: [/B] Hang on! Whoa! [B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B] I think I've been on that road. I'm Woodrow Kroll and this is the Bible Minute. I've traveled all around the world and I've driven on roads that you wouldn't believe. People complain about our long, flat roads here in Nebraska where I live. They say that they're boring. Well, there have been many times when those flat, boring roads would've looked mighty good compared to the ones I was traveling on at the time. The writer of Psalm 5:8 uses a straight road to describe God's leading: "Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face." Roads weren't too good in ancient times. The best roads were always straight and flat. The psalmist was saying that the best roads are God's roads. So how's it going with you these days? Some of the biggest potholes in life are avoidable if we simply allow God to lead us down His road. The way God leads is through His Word. So read your Bible and let God guide you down a straight path.
