[B]Voice: [/B] Dear God, I think overall you're doing a pretty good job in the universe but I'm concerned about how things are going on earth. Perhaps you're too busy with the solar system to notice that the enemy seems to be winning. Permit me to offer you some advice to straighten things out here a bit. [B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B] Know anyone who's felt like that? While we may not overtly say those things, sometimes our prayers reflect the attitude that we know more than God and He ought to do things our way. When He doesn't, we get angry. I'm Woodrow Kroll, with today's Bible Minute. Do you really believe God is omniscient, that He knows everything? That's what omniscient means. In Isaiah 40:13 we read, "Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or as His counselor has taught Him?" Good question. The truth is that there's nothing we can teach a God who is omniscient. He's never caught off guard or unprepared. He doesn't have to learn. He knows everything. Rather than telling God what to do, maybe we'd be better off listening to what He wants. I suggest you pick up a Bible and read how God would have you live. Everything you need to know can be found in His Word. The Bible. Read it for answers. Read it for life.
