[B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B] This is the Bible Minute and I'm Woodrow Kroll. Have you ever wished you could be in more than one place at a time? [B]Voice 1:[/B] Hey, Hon, guess what? A guy at work gave me tickets to see the Lakers play tomorrow night, should be a great game! [B]Voice 2:[/B] Tomorrow night? Henry, we have dinner plans with the Thompsons! [B]Voice 1: [/B] Hmmm. I, ah, I wonder if Ted would want to go? [B]Voice 2: [/B] Henry! [B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B] I have a feeling Henry is probably going to miss that game. As much as he'd like to be in two places at one time, I don't think that's going to happen. Only God can be in more than one place at the same time. Since He doesn't have a physical body, time and space don't limit Him. That's why the Bible describes God as being everywhere. The Psalmist said in Psalm 139:7, "Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?" The answer is, you can't hide from God. Because He is spirit, He is everywhere. Now, that gives me great comfort when I am living rightly before Him. But I have to admit, knowing God is everywhere causes me no little anxiety when I am not living righteously. Perhaps you're feeling alone right now. Take comfort in knowing that God is right next to you just as He is right next to me. His comfort is really only a Bible away. Why not pick up your Bible right now, read Psalm 139 or any of the Psalms and discover the God who is everywhere. That will be a real comfort to you in time of need.
