In theology, we call God's uncompromising standards "holiness." Holiness is a part of His character. Listen to Leviticus 11:44, "I am the LORD your God...you shall be holy; for I am holy." What does that mean? It means that God will never do wrong. He won't "shortchange" His standards. To Him, what's wrong today will be wrong tomorrow. I like that because I know God will be consistent.
