Woodrow Kroll: I'm Woodrow Kroll and this is the Bible Minute. I've conducted many funerals over the years, and I hate to say it but too many Christians provided a stronger witness in death than in life.

Lady 1: It's too bad about Carol. At one time she was really on fire for God. But she drifted away these past few years.
Lady 2: I know. She could have been such a powerful witness. And now only her death touches others.
Woodrow Kroll: It's sad when that's all we can say about a Christian, that their death made a greater impact than their life. Samson was like that. He had tremendous God-given powers, but he wasted them.
In the end, it was his death that made the greatest difference. Listen to these words found in Judges 16:30: "Then Samson said, "Let me die with the Philistines!" And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life." What a tragic end to a life with so much potential.
Don't wait until your funeral to accomplish God's purpose in your life. Be a witness today. Want to know how? Read your Bible, maybe the New Testament Book of Acts and discover how God wants you to live!
