And what heard was frightful 他所说的令我好害怕 As the angel turned his head. 天使转过头来 He looked directly at me, 定睛的看着我 And this is what he said... 他说： I know you stand and wonder " 我知道你很怀疑我所做的事 At what my writing's worth 价值为何。 But God has told me to record 但上帝吩咐我记录下 The lives of those on earth 人类生命中的点点滴滴 The book that I am filling 在这本书中我确实的纪录下了 Is an accurate account 人类的每句话每个举动 Of every word and action And to what they do amount And since you have been watching 因为你在看 I must tell you what is true; 我必须告诉你实话 The details of my journal 本子中的细节 Are the strict accounts of YOU 全部都是对于你钜细靡遗的纪录 The Lord asked me to watch you 上帝要求我鉴察你 As each day you worked and played 工作时娱乐时 I saw you as you went to church 你去教堂时我看着你 I saw you as you prayed 你祷告时我看着你 But I was told to document 但我必须要记录你日复一日的生活 Your life through all the week 我写下了你的骄傲自大 I wrote when you were proud and bold 也写下了你的温柔 I wrote when you were meek I recorded all your attitudes 不论是好的态度或是坏的态度 Whether they were good or bad 我都记录了下来 I was sorry that I had to write 我很抱歉我必须写下一些让 The things that make God sad 上帝难过的事情 So now I'll tell the wonder 现在我要告诉你这个神奇墨水 Of this eternal ink 的奥秘 For the reason for its mystery 这个奥秘可以让你好好思考 Should make you stop and think 其中的意义 This ink that God created 上帝所创造的的这个墨水 To help me keep my journal 是帮助我只要记录下可以 Will only keep a record of 存到永远的事情 Things that are eternal So much of life is wasted 如此一来 On things that matter not 我就不用再删除那些 So instead of my erasing 生命中毫无意义的事 Smudging ink and ugly blot 把本子删得乌漆摸黑的 I just keep writing faithfully and 我所要做的是 Let the ink do all the rest 忠诚地纪录下所有的事情 For it is able to decide 剩下的就由墨水来决定 What's useless and what is best 什么才是有意义的 Of all you do and say 上帝照着我所记录下来的来审判 Your deeds that count for nothing 而你所做的若没什么意义 Will just disappear away 自然的就会消失不见 When books are opened someday, 某天当生命册被打开 As sure as heaven is true, 天堂真实地座落在你眼前时 The Lord's eternal ink will tell 上帝的神奇墨水将会分辨 What mattered most to you 什么和你最有关系 If you just lived to please yourself 如果你只为了自己活 The pages will be bare 你的扉页将是空白的 And God will issue no reward 等你到了这里 For you when you get there 上帝将不会给你任何奖赏 In fact, you will be embarrassed 事实上，你会感到羞愧 You will hang your head in shame 你将会把你的头浸在羞耻之中 Because you did not give yourself 因为你并没有委身于基督耶稣 In love to Jesus' Name 的爱里 Yet maybe there will be a few 虽然或许有几行字仍然留着 Recorded lines that stayed 代表着你曾真正的关心 That showed the times you truly cared 真诚的去爱与祷告 Sincerely loved and prayed But you will always wonder 但你仍旧会惊叹 As you enter heaven's door 如果你做的更多 How much more glad you would have been 当你踏入天堂时 If only you'd done more 那喜乐将会是何等的大 When I heard the angel's story 听完了天使的一番话 I fell down and wept and cried 我扑倒在地上放声大哭 For as yet I still was dreaming 虽然这只是一场梦 I hadn't really died 我还没有真正的死亡 And I said: O angel tell the Lord 我说：天使啊！告诉上帝 That soon as I awake 等我一起床 I will live my life for Jesus- 我会为主而活 I will do all for His dear sake 我愿意为神慈爱的缘故做任何事 I'll give in full surrender 我甘心降服在祂面前 I'll do all He wants me to do 愿意照着祂的旨意而行 I'll turn my back on self and sin 我要背弃不真实的自我和罪 And whatever isn't true And though the way seems long and rough 虽然这条路看来似乎长又崎岖 I promise to endure 我愿意承受 I am determined to pursue the things 并且一生追寻圣洁，清心，与单纯 That are holy, clean, and pure 的事物 With Jesus as my helper 借着耶稣是我的帮助 I will win lost souls to Thee 我要为祂赢得失丧的灵魂 For I know that they will live with Christ 因为我知道他们将和上帝一同活在 For all eternity 永恒里 And that's what really matters 而这才是真正重要的 When my life on earth is gone 当在世的年岁已尽 That I will stand before the Lord 我站在神的面前 And hear Him say, well done 才可以听见神说：做的好！ For is it really worth it 难道使我的生命濒临在危险边缘 As my life lies at the brink?　　　　　　 是有价值的吗 ？ And I realize that God keeps books　　　 此时我才了解到上帝为什么要用永恒 With His eternal ink　　　　　　　　　 的墨水来纪录生命册 Should all my life be focused 难道我应该把我的生命 On things that turn to dust? 浪费在转眼间如尘土的事上？不！ From this point on I'll serve the Lord; 因此 我要服事神 I can, I will, I must! 我能 我将要 我必须！！ I will NOT send blank pages 　 我将不会任一空白的扉页 Up to God's majestic throne 呈现在上帝威严的宝座前 For where that record's going now 因为记录所在的地方就是我 Is my eternal home 永恒的家 I am giving all to Jesus 我将我所拥有的献给耶稣 I now have seen the link 我已经看到了上帝和生命的关联 For I saw an angel write my life 因为我看到了一位天使 With God's Eternal Ink 握着上帝的神奇墨水笔 在纪录着我的生命
