"in spirit"是小写，若是指“圣灵”，在这里是应该大写的。

原文“心灵”，有时翻译成“圣灵”，有时翻译成“气息”，有时就是“灵”。

原文“诚实”，可以翻译成“诚实”，或“真理”，或“真诚”。

不过，我认为重要的是，现在许多信徒常常动嘴不动心，正如主耶稣所责备当时以色列人的，他们用嘴唇敬拜神，心却远离神（太15：8-9），所以拜神也是枉然。我们这个时代的人确实应该好好想一想。

以后，有机会再和大家分享“按照真理事奉神”，也就是按照神的心意事奉神。

    “你要保守你心，胜过保守一切，因为一生的果效，是由心发出。”（箴4:23）

    这句箴言确实需要我们切实地遵行。

    我们看见在这世上许多保守自己地位的，保守自己金钱的，保守自己虚荣的，保守自己权柄的；而只有那些保守自己纯一清洁心灵的人，必然能从神得着益处，并在今生建立美好的人生。

    末世是一个人心突变的时代，求主保守我们一直保守自己有一颗美好的心灵。

我的英语很差，几乎开不了口，感谢神赐给我不愿做糊里糊涂的信徒的心志。我用生命之光的查经软件搜索了关于“圣灵”的经文，在坎丁版英文圣经中对应“圣灵”的有三种表达方式：spirit/  the Holy Ghost  /Spirit，我把用spirit的经文找了出来：

 

 

【民27:18】 耶和华对摩西说，嫩的儿子约书亚，是心中有圣灵的，你将他领来按手在他头上，

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;

【诗51:11】 不要丢弃我，使我离开你的面。不要从我收回你的圣灵。

Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

【太4:1】 当时，耶稣被圣灵引到旷野，受魔鬼的试探。

Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

昨天无意中看到有位弟兄对约4：23-24的解释，供参考：

 

 

这里的用心灵和诚实拜的更贴切符合圣经的翻译是在圣灵和真理中拜。在那语言环境谈的是拜神的地方。实际上也就是在基督里拜神。

弟兄你用生命之光的查经软件吗？这个软件使我受益匪浅，如果再下载一个有道桌面电子词典，读英文圣经的难度就大大降低了。
