Children’s Changing Attitude Toward Parents

Age 4: My parents can do anything. 四岁：我父母能做任何事。 Age 8: They might not know one or two things. 八岁：他们可能不知道一、二件小事。 Age12: My parents don't understand. 十二岁：我的父母不会理解的。 Age15: How old-fashioned they are! 十五岁：他们是老古董。 Age20: They are out of date. 二十岁：他们赶不上时代罗。 Age25: Occassionally they would come up with a good idea. 二十五岁：偶尔他们会想到个好主意。 Age30: I wonder what Mom and Dad think I should do. 三十岁：不知道爸妈认为我该怎么做。 Age40: Let us discuss it with our parents. 四十岁：最好跟父母商量商量。 Age50: Their experience is very valuable. 五十岁：他们的经验是无价之宝。 Age60: I wish I could talk with them again. 六十岁：真希望再有机会跟他们谈谈。
