13 | I Corinthians 2:12
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the
spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that
are freely given to us of God.

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto
thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits
of all thine increase:

14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee:
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet
Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the
place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed
me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal
the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them
that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

16 | John 9:1–3, 6, 7
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from
his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this
man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his
parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest
in him.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made
clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man
with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is
by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and
washed, and came seeing.

“God is Love.” More than this we cannot ask,
higher we cannot look, farther we cannot go.
