Luke 11:5-13 ( NCV ) Then Jesus said to them, “ Suppose one of you went to your friend’s house at midnight and said to him, ‘Friend, loan me three loaves of bread. A friend of mine has come into town to visit me,but I have nothing for him to eat.’ Your friend inside the house answers, ‘Don’t bother me! The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed, I cannot get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, if friendship is not enough to make him get up to give you the bread, your boldness will make him get up and give you whatever you need. So I tell you, ask , and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, everyone who asks will receive. The one who searches will find. And everyone who knocks will have the door opened. If your children ask for a fish, which of you would give them a snake instead? Or, if your children ask for an egg, would you give them a scorpion? Even though you are bad, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more your heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

 

James 1:16-17 ( NRSV ) Do not be deceived, my beloved. Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

路加福音11:5--13: 耶稣告诉他的门徒：“假如你们当中有人半夜里到朋友家去，对他说：‘朋友，请借三个面包给我,因为我的一个朋友行路来到我家，我没有什么吃的好招待他。’你的朋友从里面回答：‘别打扰我，门已经关上了；我和孩子们也上了床，我不能起来拿什么给你。’我告诉你们，纵使他不因那个人是他的朋友而起来拿面包给他，也要因那个人情词迫切地直求，就必起来照他所需要的给他。所以我告诉你们，你们祈求上帝，就得到；寻找，就找到；敲门，就给你们开门。因为凡祈求上帝的，就得到；寻找的，就找到；敲门的，就给他开门。你们当中作父亲的，有谁在儿子要鱼的时候，拿蛇给他？要鸡蛋的时候，拿蝎子给他呢？你们虽然不好，还晓得拿好东西给自己的儿女；何况天父，你们的天父岂不更要把圣灵给祈求他的人吗？”

 

雅各书１：１６－１７：我亲爱的弟兄姊妹们，不要被愚弄了！一切美善的事物和各样完美的恩赐都是从天上来的，是从天父来的；在他没有改变，也没有转动的影子。
