Matthew 18:21-35 ( NLT ) Then Peter came to him and asked, “ Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me ? Seven times ?” No !” Jesus replied, “ seventy times seven! “ For this reason, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owned him millions of dollars. He couldn’t pay, so the king ordered that he, his wife, his children, and everything he had be sold to pay the debt. But the man fell down before the king and begged him, “ Oh, sir, be patient with me, and I will pay it all.’ Then the king was filled with pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt. “ But when the man left the king, he went to a fellow servant who owed him a few thousand dollars. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment. His fellow servant fell down before him and begged for a little more time. “Be patient and I will pay it. he pleaded. But his creditor wouldn’t wait. He had the man arrested and jailed until the debt could be paid in full. When some of the other servants saw this, they were very upset. They went to the king and told him what had happened. Then the king called in the man he had forgiven and said, You evil servant ! I forgave you that tremendous debt because you pleaded with me. Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you? Then the angry king sent the man to prison until he had paid every penny. “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters in your heart.”

 

Ephesians 4:31-32 ( NCV ) Do not be bitter or angry or mad. Never shout angrily or say things to hurt others. Never do anything evil. Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

马太福音：18:21-35 那时彼得进前来，问耶稣说：＂主啊，有人得罪我，我当饶恕他几次呢？到七次可以吗？＂不！耶稣回答，＂不是到七次，乃是到七十个七次．天国好比一个王要和向他借钱的仆人算帐．才算的时候，有人带了一个欠一千万银子的来．他没有什么偿还之物，王就命令把他和他的妻子儿女，并一切所有的都卖了偿还．那仆人就俯伏拜他，说：主啊，宽容我，将来我都要还清．那王就动了慈心，把他释放了，并且免了他的债．

那仆人出来，去他的一个同伴欠他十两银子那里，便揪着他，掐住他的喉咙要求立刻还清．他的仆人同伴就俯伏央求他说：宽容我吧！将来我必还清．他不肯，竟去把他下在监狱里，等他还了所欠的债．众同伴看见他所作的事，就甚忧愁，去把这事都告诉了王．于是，王叫了他来，对他说：你这恶奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了，你不应当怜恤你的同伴，象我怜恤你吗？王就大怒，把他交给掌刑的，等他还清了所欠的债．你们各人若不从心里饶恕你的兄弟姐妹，天父也要这样待你们了．

 

以弗所书4:31-32: 不能有苦毒，恼怒，发疯．不能有忿怒或说伤害人的话．不做任何罪恶的事．并要以恩慈相待，存怜悯的心，彼此饶恕，正如上帝在基督里饶恕了你们一样．
