The rose fades　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　玫瑰褪色凋谢了，　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

and is renewed again,　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　仍又一次发芽开放：

by its seed, naturally 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　借着她的种子，自然成长；

but where 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　但，

save in the poem 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　除了在诗的篇章里，

shall it go　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　她存在于哪里，

to suffer no diminution　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　才能不减芬芳呢．

of its splender.
