Gender doesn't matter. They have separated themselves from your authority to seek their own way. But there is good news. Remember the story of the prodigal in Luke 15? What rises from that story like a rock of encouragement is that the prodigal came to his senses. Luke 15:17 says, "But when he(the prodigal) came to himself" That must have been some morning, to realize the truth he'd been living was a lie, that his momentary pleasure would lead to death. Many prodigals come to that realization. Some, however, don't turn to God. That's why we have to continue praying for them. The prodigal in Luke 15 had enough sense to return to his father to find forgiveness. Maybe your prodigal will too. If you need encouragement today, why not read this story for yourself.
