[B]Woodrow Kroll:[/B] How many times have you hoped for someone's help and were disappointed? I'm Woodrow Kroll and that's happened to me. But the Bible offers some wise counsel for all of us. In Psalm 146, verse 5, the Psalmist writes, "Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God." When the Bible talks about hope, it means a "sure expectation." God never lets us down. You can count on Him. The psalmist goes on to describe God as the one "Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them." Imagine, you have the very God of creation in your corner. What could be better than that? What other help do you need? If you want to find out more about this God, open your Bible. Read about a God who's waiting to help you. Be encouraged. Read your Bible every day and you'll get to know God better.
