Woodrow Kroll: I'm Woodrow Kroll and this is the Bible Minute. Perhaps no feeling is potentially more devastating than feeling you're unloved. The truth is, most of us have felt that way at one time or another. What you need to remember is that whatever your circumstance, God loves you very much.
In Jeremiah 31:3 the Lord says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you."
God's love is not a distant or generic love. It's personal. God loves you right now, right this moment, just the way you are. And what's more, His love is unconditional. You can disappoint Him, but you can't do a thing to make Him love you any less.
The next time you feel unloved, remember what God said: "I have loved you with an everlasting love." Would you like even more encouragement?
Take a closer look at God's guidebook written just for you: the Bible. In its pages you'll discover a God who really does care for you. The Bible. Read it for answers; read it for life. |
