Lady 1: Patti? Patti? Wake up!
Patti: Huh! What? Oh... I must've fallen asleep...
Lady 1: You'd better not let it happen again. If Mr. Thomas catches you sleeping on the job, you'll be sleeping in the unemployment line.
Patti: I know. I've just got so many things on my mind these days I'm not sleeping at nights.
Woodrow Kroll: Ever feel like that? I'm Woodrow Kroll with today's Bible Minute. For many people uneasiness is a way of life. It causes emotional problems and can cause us to feel worn out all the time. What's the solution?
Listen to these words from Philippians 4:6 and 7: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." The solution is to commit your concerns to God and trust Him.
The more you read the Bible the more you'll realize God can handle anything that comes your way. God's Word will help you leave your concerns and burdens at His feet. Read your Bible and sleep well tonight. |
