i have three editions: the new testament,the revised standard version and new international version. Which is tje best for a beginner? please give me some suggestions, thanks!

Actually, the new testment is the second part of Bible, it is not a version. I think the NIV (new international version) is good for a beginer, because it is translated in mordern English. But if you never go through the Bible once, I suggest you read the Chinese Version first. May God bless you.

BBE is Bible in basic English, which is finished in 1965. The NIV is finished in 1984. So NIV uses more mordern English. is this anser ok?
