[B]SFX:[/B] Teakettle whistling. [B]Woodrow Kroll:[/B] And, of course, liquid... [B]SFX: [/B] Water splashing [B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B] But no matter what form it's in, it's still water. Hi, I'm Woodrow Kroll, and this is the Bible Minute. I don't want to push this analogy too far, but in some ways God is like water. There's only one God, but he exists in three separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct personalities, yet unified in one God. We call this the Trinity. It's why Jesus could say to Philip in John 14:9, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father." Or why He said in John 10:30, "I and My Father are one." So why is this important to you? Because each person of the Trinity has a specific role. The Father is the Creator. The Son is the Redeemer. And the Spirit is our Comforter. All three are united into one God. We don't have a God who is divided. We have a God who is one in purpose and character but shows Himself to us in three different persons. How well do you know Him? Want to know Him better? You can.
