[B]SFX: [/B] Music and crowd. [B]Lady 1: [/B] This isn't what I expected for a 20th class reunion. [B]Lady 2:[/B] I know. Look how everyone's changed. What happened to Larry's hair? And Phil...he's as wide as he is tall! [B]Lady 1:[/B] What about Niles? He was nerd boy in school and now he's a sophisticated neurosurgeon. Everyone's changed. [B]Lady 2:[/B] Except us, of course. [B]Lady 1:[/B] Of course. [B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B] Anyone who's gone back to a class reunion knows people change. Time marches on for all of us. But what about God? Does He ever change? I'm Woodrow Kroll and on today's Bible Minute I want to talk about the immutable character of God. The only way the promises of God could have any meaning at all is if God doesn't change. What He was like yesterday is what He is like today and will be tomorrow. Theologians call this the immutability of God and base it on verses like Malachi 3:6 where God says, "I am the LORD, I do not change." Isn't it great to know that the God of Abraham, Noah, David and Paul is the same God we serve today? The promises He made thousands of years ago will be kept. God will fulfill all that He has spoken. How can I be so confident? Because that's what the Bible says. Open your Bible, meet the God who never changes and read all about His faithful promises. He was the same yesterday as He will be today and forever.
