SFX: Dogs barking (use people).
Husband: Honey, come look at this.
Wife: What is it?
Husband: I told you Rover wrote a Broadway Musical. I believe he's conducting auditions with the neighborhood dogs.
Wife: Wow! Great. Let's see if we can get tickets for opening night.
SFX: Dogs howling....
Woodrow Kroll: Now that's one Broadway Musical I'd like to see! I think I'll bring my earplugs. I'm Woodrow Kroll and this is the Bible Minute.
Of course it's crazy to imagine a dog writing and directing a musical production. They don't have that kind of creative ability. Yet, so often this radical difference between people and animals goes unnoticed.
We've been made in the image of God and since He is a Creative God, we are creative people. That creativity points us back to the One who made us. Romans 1:20 says, "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made."
We can celebrate God's creativity. It's a characteristic that sets Him apart from all other gods. Open your Bible and read more about it. Begin in the Book of Genesis, read about the creation of the world and the creation of man. You, too, will marvel at what God has done.
