"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come..." Ecclesiastes
12:1a
"Remember" to think about over and over again. It is
information you have already gained and
you bring it back to mind to benefit from
it.
"your" This is personal! He created YOU!
"Creator" God made you. You didn't come into being
by
chance or accident. God put you together
and gave you a living soul.
"in the days" during that time, all through that
time,
not just once in a while, but
continuously.
"of your youth" while you are still young, before too
many other cares come upon you to
demand your attention. Now is the
right time to turn your thoughts God-
ward.
"before" It's "now" and "then". The easier time to
do it is "now". Don't put it off until
"then". It will be harder at that time.
"the days of trouble" You think you have trouble now?
It could become much worse. As
we grow older and face more and
more of life's problems, there
are many more things to trouble
us.
"come" As responsibilities increase, so do troubles
and problems which must require our attention.
