You may not stand in the halls of fame with honor to thy name； 你可能不够格挤入名人的殿堂， You may not own a lot of wealth . 你也可能并不坐拥巨大财富， Nor even have the best of health, 甚至可能未曾享有健康， You may not reach some earthly throne 你可能爬不到世上的宝座, Nor claim a palace of your own ; 住不进世上的王宫， You may not master some great art , 你可能成不了艺术大师， Nor rank with those the world calls smart , 从未与俊才同坐， But you can be friendly . 但你可以做个友善的人。 You may not be a scholar great . 你可能成不了大儒， Nor with the learned highly rate , 也未曾侧身学者的行列， You may not wear a pretty face , 你可能没有漂亮的脸蛋， Nor fill a great,important place; 也未曾拥有地位， You may not write a book or a song , 你可能从未写过一本书，一首曲， Nor have the praises of a throng;; 也未曾享有崇拜者的赞美， You may not ride in Pullman cars . 你可能从未坐过大礼车， Nor reach through eloquence the stars , 也未有明星的光环， But you can be friendly. 但你可以做个友善的人。 Yes ,friendly with the folks at home, 在家，对亲人友善， And friendly where you chance to roam ; 旅游，对陌生人友善， Quite friendly all along the way. 全路程友善， With those you meet from day to day ; 全天候友善， For people know it's well worth while 人人喜爱你，日月年年， To wear a kind and friendly smile , 戴上仁慈友谊的笑脸， And reach to them a friendly hand , 大人物，小人物都爱接受， However great or small they stand 你所伸出的友情之手， Yes, you can be friendly. 是的，你可以分享友善。
