In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John1:1, NRSV)

 

And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14, NRSV)

 

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not writtrn in this book. But these are witten so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name ( John 20:30-31 NRSV)
