Luke 2:8--14 ( NLT ) That night some shepherds were in the fields outside the village, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terribly frightened, but the angel reassured them. “ Don’t be afraid !” he said. “ I bring you good news of great joy for everyone ! The Savior --- yes, the Messiah, the Lord --- has been born tonight in Bethlehem, the city of David ! And this is how you will recognize him: You will find a baby lying in a manger, wrapped snugly in strips of cloth!” Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others--- the armies of heaven--- praising God: “ Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to all whom God favors.”
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Romans 5:10 For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
Philippians 4: 6-7 Don’t worry about anything, instead , pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful.
