1 John 4:7-16 ( NRSV ) Beloved , let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God, if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world. God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God. So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.

约翰一书：4:7-16: 亲爱的朋友们，我们要彼此相爱，因为爱是从上帝来的。凡有爱心的，都是由上帝而生的，也认识上帝。那没有爱心的，就不认识上帝，因为上帝是爱。上帝差他的独生子到世上来，使我们藉着他得到生命；上帝爱我们的心在此就显明了。这就是爱：不是我们爱上帝，而是上帝爱我们，差了他的儿子，为我们牺牲，赎了我们的罪。亲爱的朋友们，既然上帝那么爱我们，我们也应该彼此相爱。没有人看见过上帝，我们若彼此相爱，上帝就在我们的生命里，他的爱是完全地在我们的生命里面。上帝把他的灵赐给了我们，从此我们就知道，我们是住在他里面，而他也在我们的生命里。天父差他的儿子来作世界的救主；这是我们所看见且做见证的。那公开承认耶稣是上帝的儿子的，上帝就在他的生命里，他也有上帝的生命。所以，我们知道，并且相信上帝爱我们。上帝是爱，住在爱里面的就住在上帝里面，上帝也住在他里面。

约翰壹书3章14——16节：我们因为爱弟兄，就晓得是已经出死入生了。没有爱心的，仍住在死中。凡恨他弟兄的，就是杀人的。你们晓得凡杀人的，没有永生存在他里面。主为我们舍命，我们从此就知道何为爱，我们也当为弟兄舍命。
