Forward A few years ago I had a course entitled Essential American Idioms. And today, I want to share this course with anybody who can understand it. How shall we define "idioms"? Unlike Chinese idioms, English Idioms seldom have stories associated with them. The best definition of an idiom would be : A common use of the languge that is not easily understood simply by looking up the surface meaning of the word in a dictionary. I hope this lesson would be a practical aid to your language study. Lesson plan one week two lesson, and without any Chinese aid, Just discuess it with English. The lesson text will upload on Monday and Thursday. The most examples of book is selected from Bible. Are you ready?
