Times of testing

Actually, madam, it appears to be quite valuable. I'd be glad to pay a handsome sum for it. [B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B]Sometimes we don't realize the value of what we have until it's tested. Have you noticed that in life? I'm Woodrow Kroll and this is the Bible Minute. Take, for example, our faith in God. It's possible that our faith is much stronger, much more valuable than we realize. In Psalm 11 David declares his trust in God. In verse 5 he says, "The LORD tests the righteous." Now that's an interesting concept, isn't it? Testing reveals the strength of our faith. The tests don't create our faith; they simply serve to reveal what is already there. Times of testing are not fun, but they can be good for us as we see the evidence of God at work in our lives. Our faith is strengthened through our knowledge of God, a knowledge that comes from reading His Word. Pick up your Bible, read it and remind yourself that God can be trusted.
