Caveman 1: Got caught in trap set for animal.
Caveman 2: Who set the trap?
Caveman 1: Uhhhh...I did!
Caveman 2: (laughs)
Woodrow Kroll: It's bad enough to fall into a trap...but to fall into your own trap is even worse. I'm Woodrow Kroll and this is the Bible Minute.
Psalm 7:15,16 has this description of the wicked: "He made a pit and dug it out, and has fallen into the ditch which he made. His trouble shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown."
Incredibly, the wicked set a trap for themselves. They become victims of their own sinful ways. They're like people who throw a brick into the air only to have it fall on their own head. No matter how much temporary success wicked people may experience, in the end, they're destroyed while the righteous will be preserved. Count on it!
Don't build your own trap by walking away from God. Read your Bible and learn why the righteous, in the end, always win.
