Woodrow Kroll: Can a doctor who isn't a Christian still be a good doctor? Can an engineer who isn't a Christian still be a good engineer? What about a teacher? Can a teacher who isn't a Christian still be a good teacher? Who taught the doctor? Who taught the engineer?
Moses was one of the greatest leaders of all times. Where did Moses get his education? In Acts 7:22 we read, "And Moses was educated in all the learnings of the Egyptians, and he was a man of power in words and deeds." Moses was educated in the palace of Pharaoh.
God allowed him to learn much in Egypt before he called him to lead Israel out of bondage. If we have the mind of Christ and possess the Holy Spirit, education, even in Egypt, can be used of God to prepare us for service to Him.
We need to appreciate and affirm those whom God has gifted to teach. In doing this, we may have the privilege of introducing an unbelieving teacher to the Master Teacher and the Author of all truth, Jesus Christ. You'll find His truth recorded in the Bible. Read it today and share it with a teacher. |
