Some would say the best way to find your way out is to simply close your eyes and feel your way through. Try it sometime. It might work. John warns, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." Great advice, but what does it mean? Sometimes we feel like we are in a house of mirrors and can't discern God's things from the world's things. Which way do we go? Satan, our enemy, is quite a deceiver, you know. The solution is the opposite of getting out of a house of mirrors. Rather than close our eyes, we need to open our eyes to the truth. Rather than feel our way out, we need to think our way through by claiming God's truth. Those who close their eyes and go with their feelings will find themselves loving this world. Open your eyes today by studying the Bible to learn the truth. I've tried it and I know it works. Apart from God's truth, we are lost in a house of mirrors and that guarantees disaster. The Bible has the way out.
