PA: Dr. Brown...Dr. Brown please report to room 406 immediately.
Doctor: Yes, Nurse... what seems to be the problem?
Nurse: Dr. Brown. This patient is getting worse. We don't know what's wrong.
Doctor: Nurse, I've told you before that I do not want to be called when someone is sick. I do not like sick people. Do you realize how easily I could get sick from one of these patient's diseases. I only want to see people who are well... do you understand me?
Woodrow Kroll: Jesus was criticized for spending time with sinners. Listen to how He answered His critics, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick."
Jesus has called us to reach sinners with the Gospel. To do so we must make contact with them. We must love them. What would you do if a homosexual moved in next door? Would you love him as Jesus loves him? Remember, Jesus said it's the sick who need a physician. Reading the Bible reminds us of Jesus' great love for sinners. Do you need to be reminded of that today? Read Matthew 9:12 for yourself. The Bible is God's love letter to all people. |
