Resentment

[B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B]There are few things worse than being humiliated by somebody else. The humiliation leads to resentment and resentment to worse. Unfortunately, resentment is becoming more common these days. People sue when they don't get the job promotion they thought they deserved. They file for divorce when they don't think their spouse is meeting their needs. They even take out a gun and kill a motorist who cuts them off on the Interstate. The Bible describes one such situation in Genesis chapter 27. Esau had lost his father's blessing, a blessing that was rightly his, to his younger brother Jacob. Esau was angry and threatened to kill Jacob. It was an ugly situation. But that's what resentment does. It turns brother against brother, husband against wife. There has to be a better way. And there is. It's found in leaving resentment with God. If you need help today, why not check out Ephesians chapter 4, verses 31 and 32. Read your Bible and replace those feelings of resentment with forgiveness and peace.
