Boy 1: (Buzz Lightyear voice) To infinity and beyond.
Boy 2: What does that mean?
Boy 1: Ya know, (back to Buzz voice) beyond infinity.
Boy 2: What's infinity?
Boy 1: Well, way out there is infinity. I think it's like a planet or something.
Woodrow Kroll: Infinity is one of those words people like to use but rarely stop to think about. I'm Woodrow Kroll, and this is the Bible Minute.
God is infinite. That sounds very impressive and very theological, but what does it mean? It means God has no limits. He has no bounds. We are daily confronted by our own limitations because we are finite beings. But God is infinite.
Listen to these words from Psalm 45:17, "I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever." It is incredible to realize that God will be worshiped through all eternity. Time will not bind Him.
We will never learn all there is to know about God. He is far above our knowledge. But we can have a relationship with Him. The Bible says that the infinite God of the universe wants you to know Him. And there's only one way for you to do that. Open your Bible. Read about His love for you and His Son's death in your behalf and begin that relationship. It's all in your Bible. Read about God's greatness in His Word.
