[B]Man 1: [/B] That's a beautiful picture of your daughter. How old is she? [B]Man 2: [/B] She would have been 18 this month, but she was killed by a drunk driver. [B]Man 1: [/B] I'm sorry. [B]Man 2: [/B] The irony is the drunk walked away without a scratch. Sometimes there seems to be no justice in this world. [B]Woodrow Kroll: [/B] He's right, you know. There's often no justice in this world. And the greatest act of injustice happened nearly 2,000 years ago. I'm Woodrow Kroll, with today's Bible Minute. The greatest injustice in human history was when the innocent Jesus died for your sin and mine. 1 Peter 3:18 says, "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God." Jesus didn't deserve to die. But because He alone is just, He willingly sacrificed Himself on our behalf. A just God dying for unjust men. One day God will condemn sinners to eternal punishment according to their deeds. But in an act of love and mercy He offers forgiveness and a relationship with Him to those who receive His salvation. Take your Bible and read about God's justice and mercy. That's the only place you'll learn about it. It's there for the asking if you place your faith in Him.
